چکیده
The bridge aerodynamics research community is currently discussing several nonlinear wind load models for decks, but no definite conclusion on which model superior to the others available. In this paper, we use experimental data a double-deck section tested in an advanced forced vibration rig study observed nonlinearities and gain insight into what characteristics should be capable of modelling. Single harmonic horizontal, vertical pitching motion; combined stochastic motion are considered. This approach allows investigation more extensive range behaviours than regular tunnel testing. typical mean drift, deviation from superposition distortion. Further, introduce simple response-surface force prediction using polynomial combinations inputs its derivatives. helps further nonlinearity problem at hand select refined modelling can used future work.

An Experimental Investigation of the Effects of Canard Position on the Aerodynamic Forces of a Fighter Type Configuration Model
An extensive experimental investigation is conducted to study the effect of canard position relative to the fuselage reference line on the aerodynamic forces of a fighter type configuration model. Aerodynamic forces at different flight conditions are measured in a subsonic wind tunnel. The wing and the canard have triquetrous shapes. Experiments are conducted at Reynolds number of 342209 and at...

An extensive experimental investigation to understand the aerodynamic behavior of wrap around fin (WAF) missile configuration has been conducted. Various tests using at first a standard model (TTCP) in the trisonic wind tunnel of Imam Hossein University has been performed. The tunnel has attest section of 60×60 cm2 and can operate at Mach numbers of 0.4≤M∞≤2.2 and at attack angles of -4˚≤α≤10˚....

generated during the flapping flight of insects is an important challenge in the study of both animal locomotion and fluid mechanics. Two complimentary experimental approaches have been used to study animal aerodynamics; one that focuses directly on the forces generated by flapping wings and another that attempts to reconstruct these forces by careful analysis of the resulting wake (Brodsky, 19...
متن کاملThe advantages of an unsteady panel method in modelling the aerodynamic forces on rigid flapping wings
This paper responds to research into the aerodynamics of flapping wings and to the problem of the lack of an adequate method which accommodates large-scale trailing vortices. A comparative review is provided of prevailing aerodynamic methods, highlighting their respective limitations as well as strengths. The main advantages of an unsteady aerodynamic panel method are then introduced and illust...
